About This Web Design Blog
My name is Louis Lazaris and I am a front-end web developer, currently working for a high-end, full service Toronto web design company. I've worked as a web developer for more than 8 years, slowly developing my skills in many different web development contexts. Over the past year or so, I've made the transition from HTML table-based layouts to CSS layouts, and I endeavor to create the cleanest and most practical HTML, CSS, and JavaScript possible, within my limited, but ever-expanding, abilities.
Over the past few months I've done a lot of research on improving my code, so I thought I would start posting information about some of the challenges I've faced, the changes I've made, and some specific problems I've solved. And hopefully both I and my readers will learn something along the way.
Due to contractual obligations with my current employer, I cannot reveal information about the specific projects I'm working on, nor can I include those projects in the portfolio section of the website, but I will do my best to give my readers a good idea of the direction I've taken in my HTML code, and how such coding practices benefit both the user and the owner of the websites developed.
